"Emily is such a gorgeous model and mother to be. I've worked with her on several occasions, and when I learned that she got pregnant I asked her to pose for me once she gets "bigger." She is a great sport and did not mind at all. I chose Eno River State Park in Durham, NC for our shoot because I wanted to incorporate water and reflection and wanted to do something a little more edgy.

I asked my makeup artist for dark makeup with edgy, big hair. The red evening dress that Emily is wearing in some of the pictures makes a nice contrast with a park's rough terrain -- not a place you would expect anyone to wear a red gown.

Although she was eight months pregnant, Emily had my heart racing when she was hopping on the rocks to get to a right spot. When I said, "Stop right here!" she responded, "Do you want me to stop because it is the right spot or do you just worry?" Well, both."
