Kids Small Shop Fashion Guide | Day 20
Getting Ava to sleep has been rough around here. Ever since Franky was born she’s totally regressed in that area — she screams and cries when we say it’s time to read because she knows that bed time is soon (she used to LOVE reading before bed time), she cries that it’s too dark, that it’s too bright, that Baxter isn’t in the room, that Baxter is in the wrong spot in her room, that Franky woke her up (when she hasn’t fallen asleep yet and he’s sound asleep himself)… and the list goes on. The past couple of weeks she leaves her room every single night within minutes of being put to bed, refuses to do anything that’s associated with bed time (go to the bathroom, brush her teeth, wash her face), and ends up in our bed pretty much every night whether it’s 2am or 4am (which I actually don’t mind). But let’s just say, we’ve been pretty frustrated with bed time around here and we’re hoping this phase passes very very soon.
But once she’s fast asleep and all is calm in the house gahhh I just can’t help but stare at that precious angel face.
