A saw another blogger do this and thought it was so cool (and helpful!) since sometimes I miss DM’s over on instagram. So each week, I will be rounding up the questions I got over on Instagram and answering them here — browse them, see if it’s a question you needed answered or heck, maybe you’ll come across a discount code you didn’t know existed could come in handy some day ;)
Do you have a link to Hayes’ dinosaur towel?

Do you have a link to the kids’ prank spider box?
Yes! Frank found that prank spider box on Amazon and it has provided hours of fun so far. They love it, especially Hayes. He will sit there for an hour opening and closing it over and over haha

Which tablet do the kids have?
These are the kids tablets Ava and Franky have and I love that they come with the case and stand attached! You control their settings and have to approve app downloads - it just sends you an email to your own phone when they request one and you can approve or deny. We got them sat Christmas time when they were 50% off and I’ve seen them pop up on sale many times since so I’d say DO NOT buy them unless they’re on sale because they will go on sale. They also have the same one for older kids and I believe the only difference is the layout of them.
What was the name of the new car seat you just got for Hayes?
It’s called the Chicco OneFit™ ClearTex® All-in-One Car Seat and I have a blog post here where you can see photos and read more info on it. It’s 100% our favorite car seat we’ve ever owned!
Can you please link those kids straw cups again?
I linked our favorite kids straw cups here! Some people have said they have trouble cleaning that tiny little air duct at the top but we have never had an issue - just throw them in the dishwasher :) They don’t leak, even when the kids toss them across the room and they have so many cute colors and designs.

Is that the barefoot dreams blanket or the dupe? Which do you prefer?
We own both of them and love them both but if I had to choose, I’d probably pick the dupe because it’s very slightly thicker. Wait a second… I’d actually just choose whichever is on sale of course! The Barefoot Dreams blanket on sale can be found here and here is the link to the dupe!
I remember you mentioning you had light car seats for travel. Can you share those please?
We do and have they have been an absolute game changer!! This is the travel car seat we use for both boys and we stack them on top of each other and put them into this travel car seat case (with backpack straps and a handle). And then Ava outgrew that seat so this is the travel car seat we have for Ava now and we put hers in the same case on it’s own!
I was wondering what that app was that removes people/objects from your photos?
It’s called Retouch - the logo is a green pencil formed into a circle. It’s sooo easy to use… definitely magic!
Which one of your presets do you use the most on your page?
I edit everything on my page individually so don’t actually use presets BUT I made The Hallak Preset most closely to how I would edit my photos :) You can take a peek at all of the Lightroom presets I have available to you all here and they can be purchased individually or as a bundle with all of them in there. And if you are confused, a preset basically allows you to “one click edit” your photos!
