3 Features to Look for in A Stroller

Sponsored with love by Graco

I’ve had the opportunity to try out a whole lot of top-rated strollers and with each of them, I’ve found the things I love and the things I’m not the biggest fan of. And while I’ve done a lot of reviews in single strollers, I’m new at the whole double stroller thing. But I got to try out the Modes2Grow Travel System and let me tell you, I’m hooked.

If you’ve only got one child, don’t stop reading here because this stroller can be a single or a double — it grows as your family grows and if you ask me, that’s pretty freaking cool.

Through the years of trying out strollers, loving some and hating some, here’s my personal recommendation on what to look for in a stroller:

1. Lightweight

I’ve tested out strollers that are almost too heavy to put in my trunk and that, my friends, is definitely on my stroller no-no list. This Graco Modes2Grow Travel System is incredibly light for a double stroller. Durable but lightweight so I can pick it up with one hand, no problem!

2. Folds Easily

Before Franky was born I was testing out a single stroller to see if I wanted to recommend it to you all and there I stood in the Target parking lot, spending a good 15 minutes attempting to open it up. [If you’ve been following me for a while, you probably remember me posting on stories about this ordeal.] I’m a smart girl and I couldn’t figure it out. I googled, found a YouTube video and still couldn’t figure out how to open this thing. I shook it and pried and pulled and finally, it opened (but I never actually figured out how I did it).

I finished up my Target trip and once again, stood there for an embarrassingly long time attempting to get it folded. YouTube didn’t help. Shaking it didn’t help. And so, I threw it in the trunk wide open (thank goodness I drive an SUV) never to be folded again... by me at least.

Long story not so short — This one folds with one single button. Like you barely have to even try to shut it and it shuts. And that is what I call a winning stroller feature.

3. Grows With Your Family

Of course you don’t want to push around a double stroller or triple stroller if you only have one kid and you definitely don’t want to have to buy a new stroller if you have a second baby so the Graco Modes2Grow Travel System is perfect for just that! You can use it for one bassinet, with your car seat, with one seat, a car seat plus a seat... and the list goes on. This stroller has 9 configurations allowing it to grow as your kids and family grow. Pretty brilliant, huh?

If you’re in the market for a single or double stroller, the Graco Modes2Grow Travel System is highly recommended by me.
