Do you really need that item on your baby registry?

I did a little poll on Instagram stories yesterday and asked what you all think you really need to add to your baby registry. The internet is full of long long lists of the items “you must add to your baby registry” but based on my experience, half of it (or more!) is simply unnecessary.

Of course everything depends on the family, the child and your specific needs and wants and some of this can’t even be figured out until the baby is actually born (like carriers and baby wraps and swaddles and clothing sizes) but when Ava was born, I swear we didn’t use so many of the baby products we had purchased.

For Franky and Hayes, we kept it nice and simple and really didn’t buy much and I, personally, found it was perfect - All of the extra “stuff” just wasn’t needed. But of course, we all have our own opinions!
