I am SO EXCITED to finally announce the surprise we have planned for all of you and the day is finally here!! Now let's just hope that you're as excited as we are...I know you will be :)

As you all know, I am a huge fan of documenting our life as a family. Photos are memories and those memories will be cherished for years and years and years and will be passed down for generations to come. You get it. And while cell phone images are pretty amazing these days, the only family photos you're probably getting are selfies or with one parenting missing (aka the one taking the photo).

Can you believe that Ava has been alive for 14 months and after hundreds and hundreds of professional photos we've had taken, we finally had our first family photo session this past weekend? I can hardly believe it myself but it's true -- so that's why this little surprise is so incredibly important to me.

We've teamed up with Briana Lindsey Photography to give our followers fun, summer family photo sessions at a discount. Because what is better than a discount and some gorgeous photos of your entire family? Not much, in my eyes. (P.S. Wouldn't this make the perfect Father's Day gift??)

           (If you live far away, Malibu is right around the corner so a beach trip after your photos is the perfect plan!)

          (20 minutes of shooting, 10 images received)

We will bring the watermelon (because they make the most adorable props), that adorable Gathre picnic mat and a couple of other picnic props too! You bring you and your family and you're all set! And last but definitely not least, we set it all up and did a family session in the same spot so you can see what it'll look like and of course, some gorgeous examples of the photos you're going to receive!
