Last week we headed to Newport Beach for my best friend’s baby shower - she’s having her first baby girl next month and I can barely contain my excitement!! So in true Hallak fashion, we took the whole family and made a beach vacation out of it.

We stayed at the Hyatt Huntington Beach and we loved staying there - such a kid friendly Orange County hotel. They had multiple pools (a baby pool and a few other larger pools), super large hot tubs, water slides for the kids (even Mac who is only 1 went down one), it’s just a short walk across the bridge to get to the beach and they even provide beach chairs and towels for all of their guests. Oh and plenty of food options too for all meals, including the best little market with a Starbucks inside, which is where we had breakfast every day! We’ve snag our food and eat out on the patio! So if you’re looking for a kid-friendly hotel in Orange County, I highly recommend - our kids are 8, 5, 3 and 1 for reference.

It was a bit cloudy while we were there and most days were in the mid 60s but we still were out in our bathing suits at the pool and beach every single day. But that’s the reason some of my summer outfits were on the warmer side (ahem, jeans).
