Dear Miss Ava Sue,
We FINALLY agreed on your name over the weekend and I could not be happier. Since the first day we found out we were having a baby, we disagreed on just about every baby name in the books, and narrowed it down to 2 girl names. Yes, there are a total of 2 names that we BOTH liked. While Makenna was a close call, your Daddy called you "Makenna" the other day and it just didn't sound right to either of us. And then he called you Ava and it was perfect.
We headed to Stacey's wedding over the weekend, and still hadn't finalized the name...I was dying to finalize it and shout it out to the world. While we were on the dance floor, one of Stacey's college friends introduced me to her parents. I introduced myself, and your daddy introduced himself, and then without pause, he introduced you (my belly) to the three of them.
"And this is Ava Sue."

Your daddy tells anyone and everyone we encounter about you, and it is just the cutest thing I've ever seen. He loves you already more than you can imagine. You're definitely going to be a daddy's girl :)
We still have 5 1/2 months before we get to finally meet you and it could not come quick enough!
