Kids-Baby Pom Pom Beanies - Kids Baby Slouch Beanies - Women's Pom Beanies -- Mommy Blogger - The Overwhelmed Mommy

Here's the thing: I've always wanted to be the cool, stylish girl who can rock a hat any day of the week. And while I've totally added more hats to my wardrobe recently and feel like I can rock some styles, beanies are next on my list.

If I'm doing my math right, Winter is just 2 days away (crazy, right?!) so I need to get on this trend stat.

3 Reasons to Love Beanies:

- they're cute (especially on babies)
- they're warm (not that we need it here in SoCal but hey, I can pretend)
- they cover up greasy hair (mom win!)

I love beanies...just not on me. But I'm learning because I want to love them. I want to love them so badly. You probably saw my insta story when I first got that adorable black pom beanie (picture below) and I had to ask all of you how the heck I was supposed to wear it. Basically I'm beanie-illiterate but I'll get there (eventually).

But the one thing I do know is that I LOVE baby beanies.

Let's not get confused with Beanie Babies (which are something I also love and have a full stash of) but here, I'm talking about beanies that babies wear. You know, the warm adorable things that go on top of a baby's head? Bonus points if they've got a furry pom pom or two on the top :) Now that we've got that cleared up, I'll show you what I found:
