As soon as I knew I wanted to get Ava a wooden dollhouse for her birthday, I searched high and low for the perfect one. I searched Google and Etsy and Amazon and Target and Pottery Barn Kids doll houses and really, I searched every website I could think of that may have a super cute wooden dollhouse that would last a lifetime and bring a lifetime of memories for Ava.
I had my heart set on the Magnolia Hearth & Hand Dollhouse and when it was sold out in all Target stores and I couldn't find it on Amazon on eBay for less than double the price it was in stores (like $500 for a $200 dollhouse), I almost cried. Okay not really, but I was pretty bummed that I didn't snag it up last December when I saw it in stores.
Lucky for you, I finally found the Magnolia Hearth & Hand Dollhouse and linked it below in case any of you were searching high and low for it too. And lucky for me, I found a Pottery Barn Dollhouse that I absolutely adore. And more importantly, Ava adores it too. Like seriously, she plays with that dollhouse at least a couple hours a day. And toddlers don't ever do the same activity for more than 10 minutes a day so this wooden dollhouse is the real MVP in our home.
Moral of the Story:
If you're looking to buy your kid a dollhouse, do it. I don't regret any penny I spent. And luckily, I saved all of my top contenders while doing my search and linked them all below for ya.
